State: More cases of the flu reported in Monroe County than any other county in WNY or CNY

MONROE COUNTY N. Y. (WHEC) — A flu report released Friday found flu cases are up by 145% in Monroe County this week.
According to the report, there are 196 active cases of the flu in Monroe County, which is higher than the number of cases in any other county in Western or Central New York.
The State Health Department found statewide, cases of the flu were up by 62% last week, after a 60% increase the week before.
