Protect yourself against crypto scams

When crypto prices start to move, itís easy to get excited. Unfortunately, it also makes it easier for scammers to take advantage of people.

Weíve already seen an increase in accounts impersonating Blockchain.com and our employees, so itís important to be skeptical of any inbound communication you receive. If you see offers like giveaways, get rich quick schemes, or mining opportunities, it is a scam.

As a rule of thumb, we will never ask you:
To send us money
To send us your 12 word recovery phrase
For a fee to upgrade your account (i.e. to Gold level verification)

Always double check email addresses and social media handles to ensure youíre communicating with the official Blockchain.com team. You may even want to follow us on our official social channels.
