Our client is an oil servicing firm with major operations in downstream petroleum services and minor operation in upstream petroleum services. They have been in existence for over 5 years now.GENERAL MANAGER
As General Manager, this role is responsible for strategic sales and partnerships within both private and public sectors identifying new sales leads, pitching products and/or services to potential customers, maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers and ensuring profitability.
The person will be an experienced and passionate professional, eager to work in an evolving and dynamic environment as to act as the General Manager for the VAS business in Nigeria.
The GM will have the ability to demonstrate his/her confidence in managing various teams while developing also an outstanding relationship with all key stakeholders (mobile operators & strategically important large customers in Nigeria) as the main responsible individual for cross-selling the company?s portfolio.
In close cooperation with the group CEO and the Executive Directors, this role will generate business sales across these different sectors and regions.REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Bachelors degree. Post Graduate degree preferred but not mandatory.
At least 5 years relevant work experience.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven work experience as General manager with oversight experience

Developing marketing campaigns/strategies, conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences.

Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information.
Required to prepare and submit in time monthly report in the defined format relating job function.
Updating databases and using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
B.Sc qualification in any discipline.
Strong record of acquiring new, strategic accounts and growing new business lines.
An outgoing personality and history building strong relationships both internally and externally.
With interactive skills eagerness to travel in and around Nigeria.
