GROWING speculations that Nigerians were being recruited for terrorism may have been confirmed by the arrest of an Indian in Ibadan, Oyo State for the act.
The Indian who works with procurement department of a multinational tobacco firm based in the state was picked up by operatives of the State Security Services (SSS) when the Nigerians he attempted to recruit for the ignoble trade reported him to the agency.
A senior official of the company confirmed the arrest of the employee.
He told The Guardian yesterday that the Indian's action was an embarrassment to the firm.
