Sylvester Stallone?s 36-year-old son didn't take his own life, says his lawyer
Stallone son lay dead for 4 days The 36-year-old film producer, Sly's eldest son from his marriage to Sasha Czack, is thought to have died from an accidental drugs overdose at his Hollywood home.
Sage is thought to have lay dead for four days before he was found on Friday.
A post-mortem examination on Sunday proved inconclusive and family members will now have to wait up to six weeks for the results of toxicology tests.
But Sylvester has called for an end to speculation over the tragedy.
Sly tells TMZ.com: "When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain.
"Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.
"This agonising loss will be felt for the rest of our lives.
"Sage was our first child and the centre of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory in full left in peace."
Yesterday Sage's lawyer said he died just days before he was due to get married.
Lawyer George Braunstein said Sage was to wed his long-term girlfriend later this week in Las Vegas and insisted he had not deliberately taken his own life.
Mr Braunstein stressed there was "no indication that there was anything wrong in his life".
He denied that Sage was a drug addict and said he rarely drank.
