Etisalat unveils modified Easy Starter package

Etisalat Nigeria last week announced a modification to its Easy Starter package just as it introduced a new Homezone tariff and new Bonus on incoming calls campaign.
The Easy Starter package is the network?s flagship product designed for the larger mass of its customers.
The new Homezone offer, is a tariff option that avails customers of more affordable rates in their preferred location, where they spend the most of their time in office, school and home at a minimal daily access fee.
The tariff option which the operator said is available to new and existing easy starter subscribers will allow subscribers make calls at 20k/sec to any network and at anytime from that location with a daily access fee of N10.
Announcing the new package in Lagos, the company?s Chief Commercial Officer, Wael Ammar said that the company constantly seeks new ways to ensure customer satisfaction hence its decision to review the product and load it with even more unique offerings all for the benefit of which add value to the lives of their customers who remain the core of their business.
According to him, ?we remain true to our promise of quality service delivery, innovation and customer focus. That is why with Bonus on Incoming Calls (BOIC), we have chosen to do things differently once again. Rather than reward our subscribers for usage we are rewarding them with free minutes for calls received from other networks.
To activate the Homezone feature, Ammar said that customers can dial a short code from a the preferred location of their choice and they will automatically begin getting 20 percent discount on their default tariff plan.
To opt-in to the new tariff offer and to start calling at 20k/sec, he advised customers to dial *202*1# short code after they have selected the Homezone.
Ammar further explained that the modified Easy Starter package retains the ?Bonus on incoming calls? (BOIC) feature, which rewards customers with one minute free call to any networkl for every 3 minutes call received from other networks in Nigeria.
