RELIGION / APOLOGETICS : PRAYING TO SAINTS
« on: May 15, 2013, 12:13:45 PM »
APOLOGETICS: PRAYING TO SAINTS There seems to be a great deal of confusion among non-Catholics concerning the Church's
teaching on praying to the saints in heaven. It is alleged that by praying to them we equate
them with God. This is false. But why pray to them, when we can pray to God? Don't the
Scriptures tell us that we have but one mediator, and that is "Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It
is true that intercessory prayer is a type of mediation but not the type exclusively
performed by Jesus. Hebrews 9:15 tells us that Jesus "is the Mediator of a new covenant " When the saints in heaven pray for us they are no more mediating a new covenant than
we are when we pray for each other. To pray means to ask, not to worship. Also, we do not pray to the saints instead of God. We
pray to God and ask that the saints pray for and with us. Are we not to "bear one another's
burdens" (Galatians 6:2), and to "pray for one another" (James 5:16)? Were we not "all
baptized into one body" (1 Corinthians 12:13)? Are not the saints in heaven still members of
that body? We know that "the prayer of a righteous person has great power" (James 5:16).
Who could be more righteous or pray more fervently than those already perfected and in the Lord's presence? We know that they care for us, "There will be more joy in heaven over
one sinner who repents" (Luke 15:7). And finally we see that they present our prayers
along with their own to Jesus: "The four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell
down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which
are the prayers of the saints" (Revelation 5:8). Also, "And another angel came and stood at
the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne. And the smoke of the incense rose
with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Revelation 8:3-4).
Note that incense represents our prayers, and that the angels and elders in heaven present
our prayers to God. In Matthew 18:10 we find, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you
that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven." What do
you suppose the little ones' angels would be doing on their behalf before God? Praying for
them is the only logical answer.
Demonstrating early Christian belief, Origen wrote in the year 233, "But not the High Priest
[Christ] alone prays for those who pray sincerely, but also the angels...as also the souls of the saints who have already fallen asleep" Mary receives special honor because she, who once cared for the physical body of Christ,
now cares, through her intercession, for the mystical body of Christ (the Church). Devotion
to Mary differs, just as devotion to family differs, from devotion to God. In no way does it
imply equality with God. Even the Protestant reformers saw this as being consistent with
Scripture. Martin Luther wrote in a prologue to the Magnificat, "May the tender mother of
God herself procure for me the Spirit of wisdom profitably and thoroughly to expound this song of hers." John Calvin, working on his "Institutes of the Christian Religion," wrote, "We
cannot celebrate the blessings given us in Christ without commemorating at the same time
how high an honor God has granted to Mary when he chose to make her the mother of his
only Son." Ulrich Zwingli stated, "The more honor and love for Christ, the more also the
esteem and honor for Mary."
As for the title of Co-Redemptrix, it must be noted that the Church did not give her this title but agrees with the theology behind it. The title comes from tenth century theologians who
explain that redemption was accomplished in three steps: (1) The Incarnation, when the
Word was made flesh, (2) The performance, Christ's death and resurrection (the essential
sacrifice which redeemed man), and (3) The application, whereby redemption is
communicated to believers. Jesus alone accomplished the second step. Mary cooperated in
the first and third steps. Indeed we are all commanded to participate in the third step: "Make disciples of all nations" (Mark 28:19). In 1 Corinthians 3:9 we are referred to as "God's
coworkers." Does that make us equal to God? Does our work have the same value as His? Of
course not! We merely work with God for the furtherance of His kingdom. It is only in this
sense that we can be co-workers or co-redeemers with Christ.

RELIGION / Irony of Nigerian pastors

 THE IRONY OF NIGERIAN PASTORS---The
pope is the leader of over 1billion
catholics worldwide yet he boards a
commercial jet liner and if my memory
has not failed me,Pope Benedict visited
Benin Republic two years ago on air italia....Mother Theresa became one of the most famous preacher's of Christ
and agent of charity with an entire life's
possession of two pair of her nunnery
uniform and sweater,a chaplet,a prayer
book,sandals and toothbrush...Reinhard Bonnke,one of
the foremost evangelist of our time,a man whom no nigerian pastor can hold
a candle to,does not even own a single
jet he has been to more countries and
preached to more people than all nigerian pastors put together would
ever hope to accomplish in their life
time...However,nigerian pastors have contributed immensely to corruption in
Nigeria,if not, how could someone who
owns three or four private jets in the midst of looming poverty,be called
humble???...Also,how does someone
whose university is one of the most
expensive in the country be called humble???...is that how the bible
defines humility???...Any nigerian that support these jet hugging charlatans
do not have any moral right to castigate
politicians reckless display of
extravagance...[I wrote this piece
because nigerian pastors love to overstate their importance]

GENERAL DISCUSSION / Taken care of crying baby
« on: April 24, 2013, 04:07:50 PM »
Sometimes, a child who is less than 90 days old may have the sudden onset of unexplained crying. The parents may notice that crying is the only symptom they can relate to the doctor, because the younger the child, the harder it is to identify the cause of the crying. The common causes of new-onset crying include hunger, desire to sleep, pain, when the
child feels too cold or too hot, or when the clothing is too tight. Sometimes, the main cause of recurrent crying may be the normal fussy crying. When a child cries for over three hours in a given day, it may be due to colic. Again, babies cry because of a bloated stomach as a result of overfeeding. Unlike gas, excessive milk can cause temporary discomfort. Generally, gas does not cause crying, as all crying babies pass lots of gas and their intestines make lots of gassy noises. The gas comes from swallowed air and it is normal and does not become trapped or cause any pains. Abdominal colic This can cause excessive crying by the baby once or twice per day. When it happens, the baby is usually consolable when held and comforted. He acts normal (happy, contented) between bouts of crying, especially when he gets enough to eat and is not hungry. In this case, the baby is not sick. The colic usually starts before a child is two weeks old and usually resolves by the time he is three months old and sometimes when he is four months old. In most cases, it does not require any medications. Tackling normal crying or colic oReassurance: All babies cry when they are hungry. In addition, the average baby has one to two hours of unexplained crying scattered throughout the day. As long as they are happy and content when they are not crying, this is normal. oColic: Some babies cry excessively (over three hours a day) or are very difficult to comfort. If they are growing normally and have a normal medical exam, the crying is called colic. Remind and reassure yourself that colic is due to brain immaturity and has nothing to do with your parenting or any medical issue. oFeeding: Feed your baby if more than two hours have elapsed since the last feeding (one and a half hours if the baby takes only --- milk). oHold and comfort: Hold and try to calm your baby whenever he cries without a reason. The horizontal position is usually best for helping a baby relax and go to sleep. Rock your child in a rocking chair, in a cradle or while standing. (Many babies calm best with rapid tiny movements like vibrations). oPlace the child in a windup swing or vibrating chair. Take him for a stroller ride, outdoors or indoors. Do anything else you think may be comforting (such as a gentle massage, or warm bath). oCaution: Avoid baby slings before a child is four months old because they have caused suffocation in some babies! When a child cries to sleep If you can't stop the crying and your baby is not hungry, let your baby cry himself to sleep. For some overtired babies, this is the only answer. You may strap him to the back your baby firmly, because if more than three hours have elapsed since he had the last nap, you can be sure your baby needs to sleep. To take care of this problem, oEncourage night time sleep (rather than daytime sleep): Try to keep your child from sleeping excessively during the day. If your baby has napped two hours or longer, gently wake him. Play with him or feed him, depending on his needs. This will help to reduce the amount of time your baby is awake at night. oWarning: Never shake a baby. It can cause bleeding on the brain and severe brain damage. Also, never leave your baby with anyone who is immature or has a bad temper. If you are frustrated, put your baby down in a safe place and get help! oExpected course: Once you find the right technique, the crying should decrease to one hour per day. Colic improves after two months of age and is usually gone by the time the baby is three months old. No medication is required! In conclusion, call your paediatrician (baby doctor) if your baby starts to look or act abnormal, if he cries constantly over two hours even when you are using this advice; or if he cannot be comforted or the child becomes worse.  Mancini still has title dream - Kidd 20 Apr 2013 09:28:46 Manchester City assistant manager Brian Kidd has revealed boss Roberto
Mancini has not given up on winning the Premier League title despite what
he has said in public. City face Tottenham on Sunday knowing a defeat at White Hart Lane, and a win for leaders Manchester United against Aston Villa on Monday, would confirm Alex
Ferguson's team as champions. Mancini recently admitted the race was over, but Kidd claims the Italian, inspired by last
season's title-winning campaign, secretly believes it is still possible to overhaul United's
13-point lead. "Let's be honest, the boss has been here just less than four years and he has put
silverware on the sideboard and no-one believes that he has really given up on the
title," Kidd said. "It was the same last season. We keep working the same, we keep working hard, he is
on the pitch every day. It is all about attaining a standard. "And like I keep saying, he is not afraid to deal with big players. He can handle big
players and he is not afraid of making big decisions. "It is not over. We're champions so it is not over. As champions you go out with pride. "If you going to lose it you are going to lose it by getting knocked out, like a great
boxer would, not on his stool." Should City fail in their Premier League title defence, as looks increasingly likely, Kidd is
well aware it is no fluke that United have wrestled it from them. "I've been there and I keep hearing these stories that it is luck," he said. "It is not luck. It is ingrained in them. They keep going to the end -win, draw or lose. "The best team doesn't always win the FA cup but over a 38-game season the best
team always wins the Premier League." City will check on the fitness of Argentine forward Sergio Aguero and Spanish
midfielder David Silva ahead of their clash with Tottenham as both players attempt to
recover from hamstring injuries. Wales winger Gareth Bale appears to be winning his battle to play after picking up an
ankle injury against Basle two weeks ago. "I am pretty confident (Bale will play)," said Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas. "He's made good progress from the beginning of the week to be training with the team
so I think he will definitely up for selection." England striker Jermain Defoe is also set to be available, after a pelvic problem, but
Aaron Lennon is only just returning to training. Spurs are looking for a win to maintain their hopes of Champions League football next
season ? they are currently fifth, two points behind fourth placed Arsenal with a game
in hand. Villas-Boas added: "Arsenal have probably the easiest run-in, although they play
Manchester United at home. "We lost some points recently which have put us back into a position we were in
before but still everything depends on us because of this game in hand we have against
Chelsea. "But I think it is a great, great spectacle for the Premier League and hopefully we can be
there in the fight."

GENERAL DISCUSSION / why women lie differently than men
« on: April 20, 2013, 01:20:56 PM »
WHY WOMEN LIE DIFFERENTLY THAN MEN Relationships are supposed to be open, sharing, and honest but 56% of women lie about
their feelings .Most babes might be upset with me..but based on my ongoing research, I
believe that women and men frequently lie in different ways and for different reasons. One
cause for a gender divide when it comes to telling the truth is that we live in a patriarchal
society where despite the great gains for women, men still have more agency. And those
who wield more power have more choices and opportunities that exist simply by virtue of their status. There is a complexity to how female lies manifest: Women keep secrets and lie
to protect the secret. The secret exists for the sake of appearance, to avoid judgment,
scrutiny and criticism. When we are raised to be good girls good girls who always 'get it
right' and never have any problems it's sometimes easier to not reveal any pain, turbulence,
disappointment or trouble in one's life.
More than 80 percent of women advocate beneficial lying ------ meaning that the lie is more important than the truth. Surely, there are a few familiar lies that are no-brainers; the ones women tell about age,
weight, mothers-in-law, flawed friendships, botox or cosmetic surgery. The more serious
lies that women tell include how they truly feel about a romantic relationship, about being a
wife, about infidelity (including an affair of the mind), about motherhood and about their
own accomplishments. Add to this the dark secrets eating disorders, abuse, incest, paternity
and addictions. Women have said they feel the need to lie about how a child is doing in school or at work. Others have spoken of covering up her lost job or, more disturbing,
covering up her husband's lost job. The decision is to tell friends and family that the new
position is that of 'consultant. When i considered all of the above, i concluded that female
lies manifest as a woman's quest for reprisal, a way to avoid being evaluated and found
wanting.

SOCIETY / Thing women should never ever do
« on: April 20, 2013, 12:52:58 PM »
Things Women Should Never, Ever, Do 1. Do not shave off your eyebrows only to redraw them with a pencil? it makes no sense 2. Do not put on too much make up, you end up looking like you came out of the make-up
factory. 3. Do not wear a vest or sleeveless top without shaving your armpits or without a bra
underneath 4. Do not leave chipped nail polish to wear off on its own, there's a reason why they sell
nail polish remover. 5. If you can?t afford good quality weaves, don?t bother. 6. Do not do artificial nails that makes you look like a drag queen, simple is always sexy. 7. See-through leggings or a top used as a dress when you are out in public is a hell-to-the-
no! 8. Never do things for a man with a hope of getting something in return, expectations are
dangerous. Do it because you simply want to. 9. Never contradict what your man says - in public. 10. Never stalk the man that left you for the other woman. 11. Do not share your best friend's personal life with every Tom, Joystick and Harry. 12. Women should never act on distress in relationships like checking your man?s phone,
nagging him to death, and acting like a paranoid freak. You will simply release him to
someone else by doing so. 13. Never dish out your entire family drama on a first date. The guy just wants to know
about you. 14. Stop obsessing over your body. It?s good to eat healthy and work out but let's leave it
at that. 15. Never over-accessoriz e. stop looking like a Christmas tree. 16. Never leave home without lipgloss, your phone and most of all, your dignity. 17. Never leave your used sanitary towel in the toilet for the next person to see. Women
please! 18. Never wear very high heels if you can?t do the Naomi Campbell walk. You look like a
drunk grasshopper. 19. Never wear short skirts and low cut tops when off to an interview. You will create the
wrong impression. 20. And finally, 'Never wish to be like any other woman. There are others out there envying
you for who you are'

NEWS / Boston marathon bombing update
« on: April 20, 2013, 09:34:13 AM »
BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING UPDATE... CHECHEN IMMIGRANT TAMERLAN TSARNAEV, 26, KILLED AND DZHOKHAR INJURED COPS hunting fugitive Dzhokhar Tsarnaev finally snared him after a woman reported finding
a pile of bloody clothes in her shed. The crazed 19-year-old Boston Marathon bomber had been on the run for 8? hours after
his brother died after a terrifying shootout with police. He is in a serious condition and has been taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. Cops trapped Tsarnaev as he hid in a boat in the woman?s back garden in the Watertown
district after she reported that it had been ?cleared? with her shed earlier that day. He was spotted by a police helicopter which used a heat-seeking camera to confirm his
location ? and was feared to be wearing an IED bomb-vest. Officers raced to Franklin Street where armed police fired up to 30 shots in a short gun
battle. One cop was heard saying: ?There is definite movement in the rear of that boat. He stood
up.? A witness said: ?We saw the Swat team get out and spread out all around the house and
then the shots were fired.? Eight explosions were heard, thought to be flash bang grenades, designed to disorientate
the suspect. Ambulances rushed to the scene, and a robot bomb disposal squad was then sent into the
area to check for explosives. There were also fears last night that the boat was filled with fuel. The stand-off happened moments after Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick lifted a ?stay
at home? ban. An army of TEN THOUSAND police, FBI and national guard had hunted the surviving brother
across Boston ? after a trail of havoc by the ethnic Chechen terrorists yesterday left one
officer dead and another fighting for life. It emerged last night that older brother Tamerlan was quizzed by the FBI in 2011 after a
request by an unidentified foreign government. But officials failed to find any ?derogatory? information on him. Up to a million residents had been told to hole up indoors yesterday as the ensuing dragnet
saw the city go into virtual lockdown ? with fleets of armoured vehicles cruising the
streets. Helicopters hovered as Boston again resembled a warzone ? five days after two bombs
killed three and injured 176 at the marathon. The chilling scenes came after cop Sean Collier, 26, became the FOURTH victim killed by the
fanatical duo ? both Muslims and ethnic Chechens. The officer, on night patrol at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was investigating
reports of a disturbance. Just hours earlier cops had released close-ups of two suspects caught on film minutes
before the bombs at the marathon went off. Both were touting rucksacks ? containing explosives that had been packed into pressure
cookers. The murdered officer was shot dead in his car by medical student Tsarnaev and his
brother Tamerlan, 26 ? who had been at a 7-Eleven convenience store as it was robbed. The two cop killers then turned carjackers, forcing a terrified man at the wheel of a
Mercedes SUV to drive them from the scene. He was held for 30 minutes as the pair used his cashcard to withdraw $800, or ?525,
before being dumped unharmed at a petrol station. Meanwhile Swat teams and national guard troops had joined cops pouring into the suburb
of Watertown ? six miles from the city centre. During a high-speed chase the brothers shot
at their pursuers and threw explosives. One resident who saw the bloody climax as the fleeing vehicle pulled over told of seeing
two men using it as a shield to fire a dozen cops. Andrew Kitzenburg told how the gunmen fired at a police SUV as it drove towards them at
1am. The vehicle rolled to the side of the road, crashing into two cars in his drive. The two
maniacs then hurled a bomb at the line of police as 200 rounds of ammo were exchanged. Andrew said: ?They lit it and threw it. It went 20 yards at most. The device did explode.
One of the men ran towards the police officers and was tackled.? That was the older brother, who was taken to hospital dying from blast injuries and bullet
wounds. The younger one leapt into the SUV ? and drove it at the police. Andrew said: ?The car went right through the cops ? broke right through.? Critically-wounded officer Richard Donahue, 33, was rushed to hospital as colleagues
brought in robots to deal with backpacks left at the scene. Seven home-made explosives,
including a pressure cooker bomb like the one used in the marathon attack, were found. Cops fearing bombs could be triggered by mobiles screamed at newsmen at the scene:
?Turn off your phones if you want to live.? Last night police fanned out from the suburb to search every home for the fugitive. An
explosive trigger was said to have been found on his sibling?s body, fuelling fears he had
rigged himself as a human bomb. He was barely nine when he and his brother went to live in the US. They grew up in
Cambridge, Massachusetts, where their mum was said to be one of two people arrested. Dad Anzor now lives in Dagestan, southern Russia, where he was grilled by secret service
agents. President Vladimir Putin was kept updated ? as was Barack Obama. Anzor insisted his
sons were innocent ? and told how they reassured him when he phoned after the

MONDAY JOBS POSTING / Fears in our tomorrow
« on: April 19, 2013, 03:38:58 PM »
The family unit is crumbling so rapidly that the society is being
threatened. Recent reports have shown that moral values have dropped to its lowest point
since the history of our country. Many of our youths keep drowning themselves in illicit
sex, having multiple sex partners. Condom usage has dropped very low and that has led to an increase in HIV infections in the country. Abstinence from sexual activities are no longer
encouraged. Many young marriages between 1-3 years are crashing and the main reason is
infidelity. Adultery is on the rise and it has led to a rise in murder cases involving spouses
killing each other. The unemployment rate isnt helping matters....many youths wake up in
the morning with nothing to do. frustrated, they drown themselves in alcohol and take
solace in the only thin that guarantee them momentary pleasure...SEX. The number of single mothers is alarming and it shows how eroded the family unit has crumbled. The youths
seem to be alone. The government doesnt care, most parents dont care; they are more
interested in making money than in what their children do. If we must raise morally sound
kids for the future.....the family system of inculcating long lasting values must be reinvented.
I fear for the future of this great nation......i fear for my unborn

SOCIETY / our past to our future
« on: April 19, 2013, 01:11:49 PM »
One thing that makes our past very significant is because
it has been written to direct the future. What was
documented in the past could be either positive or
negative. It is the lesson of the past that directs us
towards the unwritten future, which is yet to come.
Therefore, our written slipups of the past are supposed to teach and direct our philosophy about life and the
unwritten story of the future. Our past cultural
misrepresentation and caricature should be seen as huge
lessons today, and in the future. Even as we continue to
look at our past mistakes, making amendments and
resolutions in order to grab the better part of the future, we must not stand too long staring at the past. We must
never again mix up the past and the future. I?m writing this, particularly because our past hunts us
today. We are still subsumed in the past. We still imbibe
the terrible culture and ideology of the past. Most of us
have continued to try those things associated with our
past. I will always ask, who says the old way is the right
way? Culture and norms of a people is usually made and
protected by the same people, so when someone says,
the culture of the past cannot be changed today, it then
means we have incompetent people all around the world
today. My argument today is that we must not continue to do
things the old way. Some cultures that were initiated in
the past are obviously inimical to societal growth and
must be discarded before we are all annihilated by a
culture that inhibits societal growth and progress. Today, Obama has decided to do what appeals to his
conscience, by discarding the popular views of the
American people which has all along not been based on
reality but rather on the past culture of the American
people. No leader was ready to do things in the new way
by passing the bill on same sex marriages. Obama has decided to take a bold step by considering that they have
the same right like every other person does in America.
This may be against the existing beliefs and norms of the
average American. Obama had not taken this decision out
of sentiment, but for the fact that the right thing must
always be done irrespective of what was obtained in the past. It takes a dedicated leader to break such wall of
cultural resistance. Even though the bill has remained a
major criticism of his administration, it is a breakaway
from the past, which continually hunts some segments of
America. Relatively, the new Catholic Pope, Francis has decided to
hold on to the oath of abject poverty by insisting not to
live in the mansion prepared for all catholic Popes, but
prefers to live in moderate and humble environment.
Aside that, he has disappointed many Catholics including
some cardinals who had taught it was business as usual when he made the choice of a beetle as his official car
against the very expensive cars the Church had provided
for him. How many people would be willing to take such
action today? How many will be willing to go the left
when others are going the right? How many are willing
to play the fool today even when they know it?s April fool? We all like to join the overwhelming voices of our
past and our culture instead of trying to effect a positive
change. It takes a fearless leader to change certain norms
that exist in some questions. Today, our culture has continued to
affect us negatively as a country. Zoning system
traditionally and cultural introduced by an unstructured
past political arrangement has been brought to the
present democratic system, making our modern
democracy- undemocratic. This is so because our leaders have not been receptive to societal change and kept on
with the old way of life. Who says the old way is the
right way? Our wrong decisions in the past have given rise to a new
political structure through killings and kidnappings by the
dreaded Boko Haram and the Niger Delta Militants. This is
because our leaders continue to play the extant politics of
their political fathers who ruled based on? Divide and
rule?. Even with the ban on slavery globally, we still breed such ill-disposed culture. I?m afraid, but how do you justify a situation where some
people are regarded as sub-humans in a human society?
Those who banned slavery saw the very terrible impact
such will create in the society and they decided to kick
against it. God created all of us equal right from the day of
creation, and who says the other person was from the lineage of slaves? What even makes you to think that you
are not even the slave? There is actually no
documentation to prove our conclusion, yet we are quick
at drawing such conclusions. How industrious are you
that they are not, how supper- intelligent are you that
they are not? Who gave us the authority to create such dividing lines in a society where we should live in peace?
Such categorization and segregation based on one?s
status brings violence into a community, hence it must
stop. It will be important to draw inference from the
happenings in Oguta, my own community where the idea
of Ohus and the freeborn has not been discarded up till
today. It is a sign that we are not receptive and open to
change. For how long are we going to stoop low to an
aged-long culture, which has continued to divide us? Many have died, many have been denied love, many have
been denied position, chieftaincy titles, marriages, and a
host of others because of the Ohus stigma. For how long
are we going to live like cat and dog in the same
community? For how long are we going to nurture this
bad culture and ideas amongst us? As for me Charlyboy, I represent freedom, and freedom I will always preach. If
we want to be free as a community, if we must enjoy
ourselves, then we must begin to see ourselves as one. I
know many of us are afraid as to who takes the first
shot, but it?s simple. We created this law, and the stigma,
hence we have the power and the right to dismantle it. Human beings make laws. People agree on a particular
culture before it becomes a way of life. Today, we have
disagreed over this practice; therefore, we must discard
it. The lessons of the recent past should direct the future
of Oguta. The continuous killings and unnecessary
kidnapping should have communicated to us the amount of hatred in the land. Our written past should henceforth
direct our unwritten future. I know you are Afraid to
take the first shot, but someone must start this.

GENERAL HEALTH / Ten human brain analysis on men and female
« on: April 18, 2013, 02:50:17 PM »
10 Human Brain Analysis ? Men vs. Women 1. MULTI-TASKING
Women ? Multiple process
Womens brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time. Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.
Men ? Single Process
Mens brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and
talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch
TV or talk over the phone or cook.
2. LANGUAGE Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can
not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That?s why in average a 3 years
old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 years old boy.
3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Mens brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find
the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a
map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.
4. CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If
he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or
car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in
the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.
5. LYING
When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Womans super natural brain
observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth
10%. Mens brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face. So guys, do not lie face to face.
6. PROBLEMS SOLVING
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in
individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many
guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not
classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.
7. WHAT THEY WANT
Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc? But Women want relationship,
friends, family, etc?
8. UNHAPPINESS
If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations. 9. SPEECH Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language.
10. HANDLING EMOTION Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking.

The Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly,
Benjamin Uwajumogu, has opened up on how the elder
brother of the impeached Deputy Governor, Martin
Agbaso, and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic
Party, PDP,, allegedly offered him N3 billion to impeach the
state Governor, Rochas Okorocha. In a chat with newsmen in Owerri, the Imo State capital,
Uwajumogu claimed that the older Agbaso (Snr), business
magnate, Emeka Offor, PDP National Vice Chairman, South
East, Col. Augustine Akobundu, and other high ranking
PDP members, promised him the said amount of money if
he was able to engineer the impeachment of Okorocha and install his Deputy, Jude Agbaso, to become the
Governor of the state. His words: ?Sometime in August, last year, Chief Martin
Agbaso, fondly called Ochudo, invited me for a meeting to
assist me in the attempt by the PDP hierarchy from
removing me from office. ?I attended the meeting with him in Anambra State in the
house of a high level member of the society, Sir Emeka

the current South East National Vice Chairman of PDP Col.
Augstine Akobundu. ?I was shocked at the meeting. I was told that the
Presidency has directed that impeachment proceedings
be commenced against Governor Okorocha to remove
him from office, so that the then Deputy Governor, Sir
Jude Agbaso can take over. ?The sum of N3 billion was offered to me and adequate
protection. I now asked them to give me the evidence
that was required to impeach the governor and up till
today, they have not given me any required
evidence?.The Speaker also debunked claims that the
impeachment of the deputy governor was predetermined, stressing that, ?I am actually surprised by
some of the information being released by the Agbasos. ?If there was any predetermined
impeachment action, it was to be against the governor,
which was to be sponsored by Martin Agbaso and the
PDP, in line with the directives of the Presidency?. Reacting, Akobundu denied the claim saying, ?I am not

talking about impeachment. PDP is concerned with
restoring good governance in the state?. Also speaking, the State Public Relations Officer of the
party, Blyden Amajirionwu, described the Speaker?s claim
as unfounded and total falsehood. He said: ?The PDP is not interested in the impeachment of
Okorocha because if he is impeached, the PDP will not
takeover. ?We are working to ensure that we win the next election
and restore good governance in the state. ?The PDP will remove Okorocha during the next general

NEWS / Warning to all so call men of God
« on: April 17, 2013, 05:26:36 PM »
I?m neither a prophet nor a prophet?s son. Yes, I?m not a
pastor. But I have a message for Nigerian Pentecostal pastors. I?m here to warn you. The Lord is angry with you. If you
choose, you can ignore the message at your own peril. Because you have sided with the tyrannical government
of President Jonathan to oppress and terrorize the poor,
you are fighting God: it?s a case of God vs. gospel
comedians. And we know who?s going to win. I call you gospel comedians because you teach and
practice false gospel. You?re hypocrites. And from the
body of evidence, that?s who you?re! The time to change your minds about God, yourselves,
and your wickedness that characterize your life is now.
In a word, you must repent. Not long ago, we were inundated with stories of pastors
who went shopping with audacious frenzy for jets. In the past week or so, the story of Pastor Chris
Oyakhilome?s offshore company clogged the news
arteries of different media outlets. In a cache of documents reviewed by Premium Times and
the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism
(ICIJ) found that Gmobile Nigeria Limited an offshore
company was incorporated in 2007 by Oyakhilome in a
Caribbean tax haven in the British Virgin Islands. According to the report, a business associate of Oyakhilome said some directors of the company held
shares on behalf of Oyakhilome?s two teenage daughters,
Sharon and Charlyn. Oyakhilome is the founder and president of Believers
Loveworld, Inc, aka Christ Embassy. As you well know, the church is the last pillar of refuge
for the people. It is the enduring buffer against a
repressive and oppressive government like Jonathan?s. You seemed loath to speak truth to power.  But ?We can
do nothing against the truth, but for the truth,? Paul
reminds us in second Corinthians 13:8. Nigerians have become weary of your gospel of
deception and theology of prosperity. Nigerians have
been swallowed up in the fiery abyss of your scams. You have substituted modest lifestyle for lavished and
ostentatious living. You have shunned pronouncements
in favor of the dispossessed. Do you ever think of the social mission of the church as
one of expressing solidarity with afflicted Nigerians
rather than confederate with Jonathan?s administration
that is saturated with corruption, hypocrisy, and
nepotism? Cast your mind back to the missionaries who brought
Christianity to you. The missionaries not only preached the gospel, but visited
the sick, catechized the children, admonished the erring,
and labored to settle disputes and promote harmony and
brotherly love. They were sustained by the freewill offerings of the
people. But like Paul the tentmaker, each learned some
trade or profession by which if necessary, to provide for
his own support. The missionaries built no mega churches. They built
churches known for their purity and simplicity that
resembled the church of apostolic times. Far from the monuments of human pomp and pride, the
people assembled not in magnificent churches or grand
mega cathedrals. But beneath the shadow of mango trees
the people listened to the words of truth from the
servants of Christ. The mission schools by the missionaries were accessible,
affordable, and inclusive. The schools were reputed for
moral excellence and academic laurels. Our poor parents
could afford the tuition fees. They built hospitals that healed the sick and cared for the
needy. They lived among the poor. They trekked long
distances to preach the gospel. They didn?t need jet planes
to undertake the Great Commission. The followers of Christ must tread the same path of
humiliation, reproach, and suffering which their Master
trod. Think of your discipleship: Which gospels do you belief in? Gospel of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth or Gospel according to Jesus of Oyingbo? You rob the poor rather than enrich them. You fleece the
poor rather than feed them.  Rather than receive the poor,
you reject them. You fight them instead of fighting for
them. The Bible explicitly states that the word of God is the
standard by which all teaching and experience must be
tested. Apostle John was quick to warn us: ?Believe not every
spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because
many false prophets are gone out into the world.? 1John
4:1 As apostate Christians with your half-pagan companions,
you directed the warfare against the poor.  But remember
there is no light between the Prince of light and the prince
of darkness. And there can be no union between their
followers! You have shown hatred to the principles of God?s law.
You have embraced deception by which lies are made to
appear the truth. You have replaced God?s law with human laws and your
congregations are led to worship the creature rather than
the Creator. Like wolves hunting their prey, you pursued those of us
who dared to criticize you and claim freedom of religious
faith. Because you cherish evil under a
profession of godliness, you hate those who disturb your
peace by condemning your course of sin. Under the cloak of pretended Christianity, you actively
participate in the siege and slaughter of the poor. You
corrupt their faith. You turned their minds from the word
of truth. Your fortunes are built on the alarming indifference to the
doctrines which are the pillars of the Christian faith. Your preaching slogan is based on the spirit of
compromise and conformity with the oppressors in
power. You have become satanic in your cruelty to the
poor. We are at a crucial moment in the history of our country
when people?s lives are in ruins. Everything is in chaos.
And you don?t give a damn to being fair and honest. Nigerians have never been so hopelessly divided by
ethnicity, poverty, religion, culture, and language. And yet,
you close your eyes as if all is well. You thumb your nose to the odious smell of neglect and
suffering of the poor.  Where is your compassion? We are at a time when judgments on people?s lawsuits
are based on lies, and when the government conceives
evil deeds against the people. Where is your outrage? We?re have been transfixed by violence and misery as
our hall mark and destruction always follow us. Where is
your protest? Nigerians don?t know where to find peace or what it
means to be just and good.  Where are your tears? The government mapped out crooked roads and no
Nigerian who follows them knows a moment?s peace.
Where is your cry for justice? There is no justice among us and we know nothing
about right living. We look for light but find darkness. We
look for bright skies but walk in gloom. We grope like blind along the wall, feeling our way like
people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we
stumble as though it were dark. We growl like hungry bears. We moan like mournful
doves. We look for justice, but it never comes. We look
for rescue, but it is far away from us. Among the living we are like the dead! The gospel teaches service to the poor and rejection of
the indifference of the prosperous to the poverty around
them. Where is the emblem of your calling? Rather, you?re interested in retaining your privileges and
power at the expense of your flock. The poor are
deceived and robbed. What Bible version do you read? You have failed to alleviate or at least lessen the sufferings
and the hopeless situations of your congregations. Where
is your charity? After all, it?s being said charity begins at
home. Your worship is full of shallow formalism. Your outward
piety is not matched by inner purity. You fasted for public
recognition while ignoring the needs of Nigerians all
around them. You have aligned yourselves to the forces of darkness
and oppression. What happened to Christ?s teaching of
the Beatitudes? You have thrown all into the memory
hole. With your hideous collage of comedy and errors, the poor
are further tormented and pulverized. In every sense of
the word, you are anti-poor. Well then, God cannot be casual or indifferent about your
conduct and conversation.  God?s judgment brings
discipline and destruction. Your habitual sins of idolatry, hypocrisy, injustice, and
corruption have not escaped God?s notice. His righteous wrath will soon fall upon the king and
commoner alike that all might learn that the Lord Almighty
cannot and will not be mocked. There comes a time when changing one?s mind is not
only desirable, it is imperative ? and that is what God
demands from you ? now! You can still do the right thing and please God: (1) Be honest and fair. (2) Reject making a profit by fraud. (3) Stay away from bribes. (4) Shut your eyes to all enticement to do wrong and (5) Preach and practice the true Gospel. It?s not too late for you to ally with the oppressed
Nigerians. There could be no better opportunity for you than now to
mobilize the people. Reach deep into the arsenal of your
influence, position, and the strength of your congregation
and confront the tyrannical regime of President Jonathan. Because improper attitude or action has crept into your
life, it?s time for a change. Do these words describe your
lifestyle before God today: pure, genuine, and
uncorrupted? Let James 1:27 point the way to an outward religion that
is consistent with inner relationship with Jesus Christ: ?Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father
means caring for orphans and widows in their distress
and refusing to let the world corrupt you.? (New Living
Translation, 2nd edition). Repentance may be old fashioned, but as long as there is
sin, it will never be outdated. If you refused to do God?s will but continues federating
with anti people administration of Mr. Jonathan, then
turbulence lies ahead! Follow @dailypostngr 63.1K followers

servants of Christ.

FAMILY and Home / whatever u give a woman
« on: April 16, 2013, 03:25:27 AM »
Whatever you give a woman, she
will
make it greater. Give her sperm,
she
will give you a baby. Give her a
house, she will give you a home. Give her
groceries, she will give you a meal.
Give
her a smile, she will give you her
heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what she is
given. So if you give her crap, be
ready
to receive a ton of shit!!!
