TW Magazine is a glamorous yet wholesome publication. We are the leading women?s lifestyle magazine in Nigeria.
Our editorial interns are fully involved in the TW editorial team. Editorial interns spend most of their time researching story leads and facts on the Internet, writing, fact-checking, copyediting, and reviewing editorial submissions and correspondence. Interns have the opportunity to acquire short published clips and gain exposure to many aspects of magazine publishing.We are looking for interns with exceptional writing and editing skills, sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, database programs and Internet research.Editorial internships are typically available once each quarter and generally correspond with magazine production cycles: February to April; May to July; August to October; November to January.

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT

The editorial assistant role is the usual starting point for careers in editorial work. They support senior editorial staff in the administration of the commissioning, planning and production of publications.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to publication, including acting as a personal assistant to commissioning editors and overseeing tasks such as issuing contracts and dealing with royalties;
liaising with other in-house teams, writers, photographers, printers, designers and production staff to negotiate and monitor timescales for stages in the publishing process;
dealing with the administration of work commissioned to freelance writers, picture researchers, photographers, stylists and illustrators;

summarising written material;
correcting manuscripts;
obtaining rights to use materials from other publications;
using computers for word processing, desktop publishing and email;
dealing with phone and email queries, e.g. from writers and the public;
filing, photocopying and other routine administrative tasks.

MARKETING ASSISTANT

Customer service skills are very critical. Day to Day tasks will include finding, pursuing, and closing sales on new leads and current clients. You will be responsible for interviewing customers, preparing and organizing necessary paperwork, obtaining all signatures, and reviewing final documents with the customer. Must be computer savvy, and have comfort across all Social Media platforms.
