BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Contact current and potential customers, visit companies to evaluate needs, and promote sale of services, new and existing company services.
? Sale of the organization’s tools & services to the both existing and potential customers using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the tools/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
? Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner by:
? Determining market strategies & goals for each product and service
? Researching and developing lists of potential customers
? Carrying out market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff
? Evaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers? technical needs
following up on sales leads and developing leads
? Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
? Establishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products & services.
? Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by:
? Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services and making presentations to users/clients

? Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by:

Work environment

PEOPLE OFFICER

DESCRIPTION
? Resourcing- End to end activities from Recruitment to Exit. Coordinates and conducts recruitment, interview & selection process- sourcing, attraction, assessment, hiring, on-boarding & orientation, back ground check, confirmation and separation. Ensures completion of all appropriate paperwork for new employees.
? Responsible for the resourcing and employment process- advertising, processing applications, preparing screening criteria, administering/evaluating tests, scheduling interviews for the purpose of meeting the defined staffing requirements while complying with established guidelines.
? Ensures completion of all appropriate paperwork for new employees and separated employees.
? Performance Evaluation- Drive the performance appraisal system. Follow up with Managers and Dept Head for completing the performance appraisal on time. Coordinates and assists manager with employee reviews and performance appraisals.
? Training & Development- Conduct needs analysis and determines training needs of employees through consultation with the respective line supervisors and H.O.D. Ensure the effective management of training and evaluation of learning programs. Facilitate and ensure strict compliance of the company?s mentoring program. Responsible for coordinating with external agencies for conducting training programs for employees (i.e. HUET, BOSIET, UT, MT, PT, ET etc). Getting the required approvals, payment advice and collection of certificates on time.
? Talent Management- Responsible for executing the Company?s Retention Strategies; Employee Career Management; Employee Promotion and Transitioning; Employee Leadership Development; Workforce Planning (Demand & Supply Forecast) and identifying Talent Gaps.
? Employee Records- Upload employee?s data on the company?s HR software database. Implement and maintain an effective record and file management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of employee data on database. Organize, maintain and review all employee employment records.
? Responsible for sending the employee training certificates and documents to clients.
? Coordinate meetings (Management, Mentoring & Training) presentations and seminar. Generate reports and presentations.
? Departmental Reports- Generate the required weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually reports and presentations.
? To provide comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support to all departments.
? Performs other duties as required or as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED
? Atleast three (3) years of related experience.
? Professional Certification- Membership in professional human resources societies is an added advantage.

FACILITIES & SERVICES OFFICER – EXPEDITER

DESCRIPTION
? Reviews purchase orders for expediting requirements, seeks solutions to technical problems, reviews reports to clarify misunderstandings, monitors client changes and communicate to end users on delivery status.
? Weekly Reports- generate and provide data for input into status reports on delays in supply, impact on delivery schedule, tracking and delivery logs. Generate and create reports detailing work progress, costs, requisition issues and inventory levels.
? Maintains proper file management of all expediting documentation and communication in the procurement file
? Advise the requisitioner on any proposed change(s) to any part of the requisitioned material (e.g. specifications etc)
? Vendor Management- Works with warehouse, buyers and suppliers to correct deficiencies, shortages, unacceptable substitutions and other problems
? Monitor placed orders with vendors and suppliers to be sure that the materials are delivered in the specified amount of time.
? Maintain a record of the outstanding purchase orders and contact vendors through telephone calls, by email and in person.
? Act as liaison between the end user and vendors with regards to relaying information regarding delays in shipments and works to resolve.
? Review work orders and other documents for accuracy and compliance standards. Monitors shipments to ensure that purchase order information matches the shipment. Check products and materials to see if they meet quality standards and possess required features. This includes the quantity and quality of materials and resolves inconsistencies in the order.
? Consulting- Before commencement of the purchase order, meets with the requisitioning unit/department in order to plan the time table with regards to material requirements, deadlines and budget for the project.
? Progress Status- Maintains contact with the shipping or transportation company to prevent delays in shipments and remains in frequent contact with the vendor/ material suppliers to ensure that delivery will be possible on the pre-determined date.
? Problem Solving- have contingency plans available for late deliveries or defective materials. Be ready to solve other problems such as the operation going over budget or the request for additional and more materials than planned.
? Returns- At the conclusion of the project, responsible for returning any unused materials to the supplier when possible.
? Analyze requisition schedules and determine which items should be sent first according to completion and scheduled delivery dates.
? Responsible for distributing requisition and shipment schedules, and meeting with department supervisors/managers to discuss progress and completion dates.
? Assist with data entry, maintaining and entering purchase orders, maintaining and compiling purchasing reports, and working with accounts payable regarding supplier and vendor invoices.
? Receives materials and data and coordinates disbursement of said data or material to the end user
? Handles all documentation related to scheduling, maintenance, repairs, transportation and shipment.
? Keeps a daily tracking system of procurement and purchasing activities. Monitors records of inventory, reordering supplies or materials when necessary.
? Provides technical and administrative assistance to the Facilities & Services DEPARTMENT.
? Perform other duties as assigned or required.

SKILLS REQUIRED
? At least 1-2 years of related work experience. Previous experience in purchasing is an added advantage
? Have a basic understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP).
? Have knowledge of shipping processes as well as quality assurance methods
