TECHNICAL LEADS
This position reports to the Engineering Manager/Deputy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•    Leads the multidiscipline technical work for assigned project(s)
•    Monitors and reports the progress of engineering work on assigned project(s) to the respective company Project Manager.
•    Coordinates technical support to other departments and ensures engineering input to support activities such as procurement;
•    Ensures that the inter-discipline checking procedures are followed;
•    Controls the multi-discipline engineering budgets (CTRs) for assigned projects;
•    Acts as the prime technical contact point to the client’s Project Engineers
•    Controlling the multi-discipline engineering budgets (CTRs) for the assigned projects
•    Co-ordination of project technical reviews such as: operability and maintainability, constructability, design, risk and HAZOPs.
 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
o    B.Sc or B.Eng Engineering degree
o    15+ years discipline engineering experience
o    Min. 8 years experience in Oil & Gas engineering.
o    Good knowledge of Project Management softwares such as MS Project, Primavera, Excel etc
o    Previous experience in multidiscipline interfacing and in relevant projects is an added advantage.
o    Excellent supervisory, report writing and communications skills are essentials.
o    Possession of a Masters degree and professional affiliation will be an advantage.
