PIPING PDMS DESIGNERS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• To prepare Estimates for piping design/drawings manhours and manpower
• To develop overall plot plan drawing based on Best Engineering practices
• Co-ordination of design information between disciplines
• In charge of production of conceptual equipment layouts and pipe routings
• Supervision of production of design drawings like Piping GA, Isometrics and support drawings
• In charge of checking of design drawings
• Leadership and Supervision of work being carried out by design staff
• Develop piping support specifications
• Generation of MTO’s for piping and pipe supports
• Leadership and supervision of 3-D modelling and related activities
• Ownership of design and engineering activities
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
o HND or B.Sc/B.Eng Engineering or related degree with 8 years experience.
o Excellent computer skills with AutoCAD or Microstation & PDMS/PDS
o Experience in fabrication and installation of piping and equipment will be added advantage
o Ability to create accurate design drawings from base project information, reporting, estimating and supervision skills
