A privately owned International Telecommunications Maintenance and GSM services Company with business offices across Nigeria and West Africa.
To help meet new strategic directions, the following positions are now vacant in our company.
POSITION: CDMA/WIMAX SERVICE ENGINEER: REF CWSE
• This is international position where the concerned candidate will work with our international partner.
• The candidate will have the responsibility to provide O&M assistance in the partner’s environment for the day to day operation and maintenance of the network elements together with its optimal use.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Corrective Maintenance: Be responsible for the 1st Level Fault Management, on-site fault handing and service restoration of all equipments and facilities.
• Preventive Maintenance: Workout the preventive maintenance program, schedule and implement it.
• Drive test & On-site Survey execution: For troubleshooting or preventive maintenance purposes, execution test will be performed. Analysis of driver test will be performed by Radio Network Optimization Team. This will allow solution identification for specific case e.g. specific customer complaints.
• The main activities include:
• Implement the test (hardware testing, call quality testing and drive testing, etc,) to verify network fault of customer complaints.
• Identifying and reporting on environmental conditions which may impart on cell performance.
• Managing of all allocated resources.
• Daily reporting on activities to supervisors.
• Carry out any network related activities.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Telecommunication industry, preferably experience in back office operation.
• Good knowledge in BSS/RAN/DATACOM network management system functionality and use of applications related to the work area.
• Experience in setting up a new performance management platform will be an added advantage.
• Analytical skills in preparing reports and managing technical projects
• Certificate of Ascend Card.
