To help meet new strategic directions, the following positions are now vacant in our company.
POSITION: HEAD OF PASSIVE MANAGED SERVICES (GSM NETWORK): REF HPMS
• This position will manage an area of the network for a world-class GSM Service Provider concerning Passive Maintenance. The passive element includes the power system, site accessories and structure together with janitorial.
• He will have to manage a team of supervisors, in-house teams and contractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the passive maintenance of the allocated area of the network.
• Manage all set KPI for the passive maintenance in view of ensuring 100 % efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery
• Define different levels of KPI for all parties concerned in view of ensuring good level of service delivery
• Devise a good working plan for all preventive maintenance and monitoring the same for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Managing a complete database for all site with fully update records,
• Actively monitoring faults and ensuring that they are attended to within the set MTTR and with a “do it right the first time” policy.
• Managing and monitoring an allocated budget for all the allocated area.
• Ensuring optimal resource configuration for managing operational cost.
• Managing a pool of resources and building capacity in the area.
• Working in close collaboration with the Network Operating Centre.
• Ensuring proper recruitment concerning the maintenance team in view of meeting set objectives.
• Ensuring that team well equipped to deliver the required level of service.
• Setting of proper processes, procedures and work instruction in view of ensuring good workflow.
• Devising daily and weekly reporting system in view of ensuring good communication at all levels.
• Devising monthly MIS and ensuring proper monitoring in view of operational cost and delivering the desired quality of service.
• Ensuring that teams are properly motivated for quality and timely deliverables.
• Attending and reporting on weekly meeting is carried out with the customer.
• Ensuring that weekly meeting is carried out with all important stakeholders of the maintenance team.
• Devising a resource capability building plan and ensuring proper implementation and follow-up.
• Undergoing frequent site visit in view of ensuring the desired quality of works.
• Undergoing any other cognate duties as required for the concerned responsibility.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
• BE Electrical or equivalent
• Management qualification MBA will be preferred.
• At least 4 years experience management of generator maintenance.
• Ability to work under high pressure.
• Experience at management level in a similar job will be an advantage.
