Corporate Accounting Manager at IITA

IITA, with Headquarters at Ibadan, is an International Agricultural Research Centre in the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which is an association of about 50 countries, International and regional organizations, and private foundations. IITA seeks to increase agricultural production a sustainable way in order to improve the nutritional status and well-being of people in tropical Sub-Saharan Africa.

The International institute of tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the position at the Institute’s headquarters in Ibadan.

CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Two (2) year renewable contract

Duties

Successful candidate will among others things
Prepare and monitor IITA budget
Monitor inter-centre projects
Prepare Finance Accounts
Contribute in the computation of overhead, Annual Report, Insurance functions etc
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Chief Financial Officer.

Qualification and Experience
Candidate must possess ACA, ACCA, ACMA plus B.Sc, HND Accounting, minimum pf six (6) years post-qualification relevant working experience in the Budget Finance Unit of a large organization is required

He /she must have a sound analytical mind and a good knowledge of Computer Spreadsheet, Oracle applications
and must be willing to put in extra hours.

Candidate must be committed, highly intelligent, honest and must possess very outstanding leadership
qualities.
