HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR – A.P. MOLLER/MAERSK, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
METRICS AND REPORTING
PREPARATION OF MONTHLY, AND AD HOC, REPORTING AND METRICS.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTENANCE AND INTEGRITY OF THE EMPLOYEE DATABASE TO OBTAIN 100% ACCURACY. TRAIN NEW USERS AND ASSIST OTHER USERS TO TROUBLESHOOT. LIAISE WITH CPH TO ENSURE WE KEEP UP TO DATE WITH ALL DEVELOPMENTS.
ESTABLISH AND DEVELOP PROCESSES AND PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE THE EFFECTIVE RECORDING AND REPORTING OF PERFORMANCE AGAINST THE GLOBAL HR KPI’S
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCAL DELIVERY OF GLOBAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND SOLUTIONS
KEY CONTACT AND DRIVER FOR MAERSK LINE LEARNING AND PROMOTION IN NEW ZEALAND
RECRUITMENT
ADMINISTRATION OF THE MAERSK LI AND PI RECRUITMENT TOOLS
MANAGING THE JOB PORTAL, INCLUDING POSTING ADVERTISEMENTS, MONITORING APPLICATIONS AND RESPONDING TO ALL APPLICANTS
PRODUCING ALL RELEVANT NEW EMPLOYMENT DOCUMENTS E.G. EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS
FACILITATE INDUCTION PROCESS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES INCLUDING ISSUING OF SECURITY CARDS, BUSINESS CARDS, NAME PLATES AND UPDATING PHOTO ALBUM WITH STAFF PHOTO.
WORK WITH MANAGERS TO UNDERSTAND RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS AND DEVELOP PROS FOR EACH ROLE
PREPARING A HARD COPY EMPLOYEE FILE FOR ALL NEW EMPLOYEES
CREATING UNIQUE USER ID’S
ENSURING THAT NEW EMPLOYEES COMPLETE AND RETURN CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECKS
ADMINISTRATION
MANAGEMENT OF HR INTRANET SITE
UNDERTAKE ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE MEDICAL INSURANCE BENEFIT AND LIAISE WITH STAFF IN REGARDS TO THEIR ELIGIBILITY
UNDERTAKE ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATED WITH BUSINESS CARD/NAME PLATE ORDERS AND THE ISSUING OF SECURITY CARDS
PREPARATION OF STAFF CARDS AS REQUESTED
PREPARATION OF RELEVANT UPDATE LETTERS TO EMPLOYEES FOLLOWING INTERNAL TRANSFERS, CHANGE OF SALARY ETC
UNDERTAKE ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATED WITH EMPLOYEES EXITING THE ORGANIZATION
PROVIDE APPROPRIATE ADVICE TO PAYROLL ON NEW EMPLOYEES, EXITING EMPLOYEES AND CHANGE OF POSITION ETC.
MAINTAIN ORGANIZATION CHARTS AND PHOTO ALBUM, UPDATING AS CHANGES OCCUR WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION
COORDINATE PORT AND VESSEL VISITS FOR EMPLOYEES
CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAIN HR FILING
UNDERTAKE SPECIFIC AND RELEVANT PROJECTS AND ASSIGNMENTS.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
THIS ROLE REQUIRES THE INCUMBENT TO HOLD, OR BE IN THE PROCESS OF GAINING, A DEGREE IN HR OR RELATED FIELD
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
