E-passport: Not yet uhuru
« on: March 11, 2008, 07:23:04 AM »
I took a snapshot for the Nigerian passport, to which every citizen is entitled, with the immigration office since June last year.
To my utter dismay, I am yet to receive my copy of the international passport, despite having paid in full the required fee.
I want to advise the Immigration Service to stop boasting of e-passport success when the change-over process has been full of irregularities.
The public infrastructures in the country are comatose. President Umaru Yar?Adua should look into this.

Emebinah Ebuka,
Anthony, Lagos.

Here they have what is call emergency passport that is valid for 3 months. You can get that on the spot if you need to travel urgently, and there's no extra cost for it.
