FREELANCE BLOG WRITER

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job type: Part time

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for talented writers to generate engaging and original content for our website.
You would research topics and write interesting posts that would appeal to our target audience. Posts are themed around weddings and jewelry and gifting with a strong lifestyle component.
This is a remote position so you can write from anywhere and at your convenience. You will be paid per accepted blog post.

TASKS
Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts
Research on and write  blog posts (500-1500 words) based on topics provided
Topics will centre around jewellery trends, proposal ideas, jewellery care, and jewellery facts but ultimately tied to products sold on our online store
We want posts that are engaging and entertaining and we welcome your personal style and sense of humour
All blog posts must be 100% original content and properly edited for grammar and punctuation
They would also need to be accompanied by appropriate imagery sourced from Flickr or some other source with creative commons license
You would also be able to draw on product images from the online store where possible.
Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.

Working hours:
This is a remote position so you work when you like and submit posts at your convenience. Posts should be between 500 to 1500 words long depending on the topic.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Excellent written English and grammar. You will be asked to submit writing samples

Skills:
Excellent command of English and good creative writing skills
Ability to research and find appropriate accompanying imagery
Good team-working ability and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
Excellent time management and ability to deliver to a deadline
Prior experience of blogging or managing a blog is an added bonus
Interest in or knowledge of jewellery and weddings would also be a plus
Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
Proficiency with Wordpress, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords
This is a remote working position and we will be using online tools like Google Drive to manage projects so reliable internet access is key
Payment is per article in blocs of five or ten articles depending on delivery

RETAIL ASSOCIATE (IKEJA)
LOCATION:
Ikeja, Lagos

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for results-driven Retail Associates to be responsible for the overall store management at our Ikeja store. There is one position open
The successful candidates will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage the store effectively as per company policies
Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in sales, customer service or marketing.

TASKS
Cultivate excellent product knowledge
Guide customers to making purchases and close transactions
Respond to customer enquiries and make best effort to resolve complaints
Maintain good cleanliness and good decorative order in the physical premises
Manage stock levels and ensure availability of inventory in-store
Make sure the POS is working
Ensure supply of all office consumables
Ensure timely opening of the store
Arrange store display in an inviting fashion
Accept repairs and ensure they are dispatched and returned in a timely fashion
Enforce company policies

Recent graduates who have just completed NYSC preferred
Female between 23 and 28 preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a part-time graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media

TASKS
Creating social media posts based on templates
Create interesting Snapchat and Instagram stories
Plan monthly photo-shoots and co-ordinate product photography
Liaise with 3D modeler- take pictures of ortho-images with annotated measurements
Update the catalog in InDesign
Process and create brand videos
Create and send out bi-monthly email newsletter based on provided templates
Create artwork to accompany posts and website banners and other marketing collateral based on provided Photoshop templates
Working Hours:

This is a part-time job for 2 days a week. We are flexible about which two days you would come into the office.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an administrative assistant at our head office. There is one position open.
The successful candidates will be very organized, good at following written procedures, has excellent email and phone etiquette and can co-ordinate with several different colleagues and vendors to ensure that tasks get completed.

TASKS

Manage stock transfer from head office to store locations
Receive and correctly tag incoming inventory
Handle procurement requests
Manage petty cash expenses
Follow up and manage a number of admin tasks including procurement and maintenance requests
Document handling and filing
Primary workshop liaison for all customer repairs and special orders
Interface with various vendors and suppliers
Enter invoices into our accounting software
Follow up with customers about their repairs and special orders
