ASSOCIATE - LITIGATION
 
JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful Candidate will:
Prepare court processes
Draft legal documents including legal opinions, company searches, briefs of argument
Process and prepare legal advice and legal agreements
Draft and review Legal documents and Agreements
Represent Client at the lower & appellate courts (within & outside Lagos)
Keep a--- of regulations, legislations, government policies and other developments that may affect the operations, business goals and objectives of the firm
Be required to stay updated with information related to the laws and legal processes
Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all client cases and transactions.
Understand the client’s business and maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target client organizations.
Work in concert with the team to achieve Unit objectives and deliverables.
Shall perform all other duties as shall be advised by Head of Unit/Partner.

REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2:1 from an accredited University and from the Nigerian Law School
LL.M Degree will be an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years’ and maximum of 7 years’ active litigation experience
Must possess excellent legal drafting and document review skills
Must possess Excellent advocacy skills
Excellent analytical and observation skills
Excellent decision-making skills
In-depth industry knowledge in Legal & Business Advisory, Regulatory & Compliance, and general commercial litigation experience
Must have the ability to undertake in-depth legal research on all legal issue
Excellent negotiation, team building and presentation skills
Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills.

ASSOCIATE - CORPORATE COMMERCIAL GROUP

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful Candidate will:
Critically examine the growth of information technology in the new age and determine its place in business, law practice and related areas with a view to identifying the opportunities it presents to the firm;
Develop products and generate transactions within the Finance, Oil and Gas, and Real Estate amongst existing and prospective target clients.
Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all client transactions.
Develop products and generate both IP and IT related transactions within the various industries including existing and prospective target clients.
Understand the client’s business and maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target client organizations.
Work in concert with the Team to achieve Unit objectives and deliverables.
Shall perform all other duties as shall be advised by Head of Unit/Partner.

REQUIREMENTS

HEAD, BUSINESS SERVICES AND ADVISORY

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design the Firms Business Development Strategy and ensure alignment of strategy and business goals whilst also developing and executing business Development Plans for the Firm;
Responsible for coordinating the identification and evaluation of new markets, identifying business opportunities and prospecting for new Clients in order to improve the firms market position and achieve financial growth
Develop and explore various business strategies and opportunities for growth
Coordinate and actively lead all business development efforts and initiatives and act as the Executive Relationship Manager to existing and prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all business transactions.
Provide weekly/quarterly reports/updates on successful briefs and contracts to the Head of Chamber/Managing partner when required.
Maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target organizations.
Work in concert with the Management Team and/or Partners to achieve the Firms objectives and corporate goals.

REQUIREMENTS
A Minimum – B.Sc in Social Sciences or related course
A relevant master’s degree or professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA or CFA) will be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 - 10 years post NYSC experience with exposure in financial reporting, financial modeling, business development, relationship management, financial advisory, investment banking
Proven excellent track record of achievement in this role or similar role in a dynamic corporate environment
Ability to build and nurture strategic business relationships
Ability to provide business acumen, energy and vision to the Firm
Ability to conduct high level competitor analysis and benchmarking
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE - CORPORATE COMMERCIAL GROUP

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic:
Oversees all company technical products, services and activities towards revenue generation covering but not limited to Engineering Services, Project Management, Engineering and Construction expert services
Ownership of the company's Technology strategy, providing visible leadership for the company within the technology community and leading the execution of technology strategy for platforms, partnerships and external relationships with the COO, representing the company before Financial, Government and Technical Regulatory Forces, defending company's objectives and decisions
Provide industry trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth, not limited to local opportunities but with strong awareness of Global perspectives
Develop with a technical efficiency and awareness, polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company's set objectives; long-term and periodic
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions and commitments of the company
Take charge of the delivery of the entire technical and operational functions (design, engineering, tendering, project management) of Transmission (extra high voltage & high voltage) and distribution construction projects, and utility system and other large construction projects that have significant electrical engineering components
Lead the Technical Division to effectively and efficiently deliver all projects with constant improvement of quality, reliability, performance, profitability and reputation of the company, keeping in view customer needs and satisfaction, of course meeting statutory and regulatory requirement
Ensure that all Contracts/Sub-contract are clearly and fully executed with high compliance to modern operational strategy, methodology and equipment
In performing this role, you shall ensure the following;
Develop capable managers and team leads in each project team and expertise circle
Implementation of effective program, to build critical core competencies and organizational effectiveness
Ensure proper establishment, documentation, implementation, control and maintenance of Quality, Cost, Labour and Time Management Systems
Conduct regular Review Meetings of projects, identify challenges and decide action plans
Ensure coordination and resolution of issues amongst departments relating to projects, cash flow, contracts and sub-contracts
Assessment of training needs of Technical personnel and implementation of training plan and program on continuous basis
Management is properly guided on all Technical Advancement decisions to be made
All staff of the Technical Division are evaluated against agreed performance objectives at pre-defined periods set by the HR function
Provision of coaching and counseling as necessary to all staff of the department

Reporting and Analysis:
Develop and Review Projects reports and present to the Management team and Managing Director and when requested by the Board the following reports by Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annually and Annually but not limited to:
Milestone Status on all Projects
Operational Improvements for Future Growth and Sustainability
Review and monitor business operating reports, ensuring effectiveness as to analyze the following:
Risk Assessments of all Projects
Operating Margins on each Project
Design consistency and constructability analysis
Provide long-range economic trends reports reflecting opportunities that exist in the industry, identifying our:
Growth Against Market/Industry
Global and Competitive Technology Standards for Operating Efficiencies

No. of Contract Liability and Project Defaults

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Experienced in strategic planning and execution
Ability to analyze financial data
Ability and proven experience in managing, motivating and communicating with interdependent groups of people is essential
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

B.Sc/ND Engineering Programs and added with MBA
Minimum experience of 20 years out of which 5 years should have been managing a large electrical engineering construction department or division
Must be member of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc.
Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects
Proficiency in an ERP Solutions and with competencies in Project Management, CAD and Microsoft Office/Prima Vera (PMO)
Proficiency in Sage ERP and other Finance/Management systems
IT audit experience would be an added advantage.

Functional Skills and Competencies:
Technical expertise in power management and power distribution design
Technical expertise in architecture, design and development
Technical expertise in industry standards for power supply design
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
Analyze and apply data to improve results.
