Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Build high scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation.
Understand and apply emerging web and mobile development models.
Review and debug code, perform validation and verification testing
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Partner with the Innovation hub and ecoystems stakeholders to define scope, intention and best use of capabilities, considering user experience, content efficiencies and more.
Define best "fit" and interdependencies and connections of capability within the solution ecosystem
Maintain present-day knowledge of technologies and be the resident expert providing feedback to the Innovation leadership for review and further dissemination to the divisions. These may include:
Machine learning and related algorithms applied to various areas of recommendations, predictions and prescriptive analytics, optimizations, classifications, clustering, and segmentation.
Deep learning with object recognition derived from computer vision and natural language processing (via videos and script metadata).
Data science based methods to automate learning; use of probabilistic reasoning and uncertainty management to maximize confidence in solutions.
Designing and implementing natural language interactions and conversational AI that provide intelligent user assistance.
Conduct research and forsee the potential needs of the market at large and evaluate the fesiability of solutions.
Participate in identifying and creating applications for novel technology and business ideas.
Build and architect the next generation digital platforms such as Speech recognition, Blockchain use-cases, Biometric Identification/authentication and Machine learning.
Collaborate with global R&D partners on radical innovation initaitives around machine translations, deep learning, Screenless display (Virtual retinal display, Bionic contact lens, EyeTap, Google Glass) etc.

Experience & Training
First degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Electrical/Electronics
6 - 13 years of experience which comprises
Experience as a software developer.
Experience taking ideas/concepts to market ready mobile applications, micro services or cloud enabled architectures a plus
Worked across diverse cultures and geographies.
Proven project management experience, preferably with an organization health component.
High performing individual with strong standing, credibility across organization and a natural internal network.
Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to help others organize problem solving

Experience creating and presenting presentations to all levels of the organization

Minimum Qualification
B.Ed, B.Eng, B.Sc, B.Tech or HND


To relate with and manage the legislature at the Federal and State level; and for that purpose to undertake analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) of Bills and activities of the legislature to ensure that threats to MTNís business are defused and opportunities are promoted.
And to manage the stakeholders in the Federal and State legislature.
Identify Bills and laws impacting on MTNís operations and conduct SWOT Analysis on same.
Monitor said Bills and laws and advise Senior Manager, Government relations on potential impact on MTNís operations.
Ensure customer queries are handled appropriately and in compliance to the MTNN regulatory framework.
Support management and advice MTNN on interconnects agreements/relationship, licence conditions and compliance with regulations and legislation.
Manage relationships with the members of the Federal and State legislature and ensure benefits for MTN, including proactively identifying risks and advising the business.
Professional and consultative relationships with senior executive stakeholders and demonstrated ability to manage challenges with integrity, tact and diplomacy
First level interface with officials and members of relevant Working Committees (i.e. Communications, Environment, Science and Technology, Commerce, Taxation, etc.) of the Senate and House of Representatives as well as the State Houses of Assembly
Coordinate mandatory Submissions to the above listed Committees and State Houses of Assembly
Leads the Departmentís implementation of the Governmentís regulatory reform measures and oversights monitoring and reporting processes to meet whole of state government requirement.
Monitors legislative and regulatory activities, oversees the implementation of policies that support MTNís goals
Monitor and influence the legislative process for the development of said Bills into law
Manages staff who liaise between legislative entities and the organization, leads the communications and interactions, which aligns with corporate business strategies.
Cultivate and maintain an excellent relationship between the company and the National Assembly and all State Houses of Assembly.
Develop detailed legislative policy on complex and sensitive issues that have nation-wide implications.
Provide advice on complex policy and legal issues relevant to legislative projects, and ensure that policy and legislation is consistent with Departmental and Government priorities, policies and legislation.

Experience & Training
LLB law degree from a recognized university
BL and call to the Nigerian bar
Minimum 6 years post call to bar experience which includes:
Minimum of 3 yearsí experience in an area of specialization with experience in supervising/managing others
In depth experience and understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications industry and regulatory framework
Experience in a commercial legal environment, alternatively within a legal & regulatory control body
Experience within the telecommunication environment is desirable.
High level oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare substantial policy documents Training:
Courses, Seminars, Conferences & workshops in Telecommunication Regulation
Management Development Program.

Minimum qualification


Officer, Procurement Support is part of the Sourcing department at the Opco and would support the Sourcing process. This process covers activities related to development and management of Sourcing Standards, end to end vendor evaluation & selection (from RFI to RFP) and management of procurement agreements. These processes would involve interactions with SCM Centers of Excellence (CoE).
Officer, Procurement Support would support the Manager, Sourcing and would be involved in the following sub-functions:
Supplier registration and qualification
Sourcing master data maintenance
Category needs and spend analysis
eSourcing Event End to End Management
Resolution Creation and approval follow up
Create/ maintain pre-qualification questionnaires/ Request for Information (RFI) / surveys / Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quotation (RFQ)/ auctions
Ensure execution of day to day operations at the Opco and resolve operational issues
 Improve productivity and quality through leading practice initiatives
Participate and provide inputs in project status meetings
Propose operational changes and provide associated user impact assessment
Participate and provide inputs in operational meetings
Set up and manage adhoc meetings for day to day operational requirements
Liaise with supplier to obtain / update relevant information for supplier registration / qualification and management
Act as a first point of contact with supplier for sourcing and supplier management related information/ queries Identify potential sensitive issues and escalate it to the appropriate level
Provide assistance in managing supplier compliance and profile audit and assessing supplier risk
Gather information from various sources like oracle, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on supplier performance
Provide compliance reports to stakeholders
