THE POSITION: ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT MANAGER

? DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A QUOTING AND ORDERING SYSTEM IN ORDER TO ENSURE PRE-AUTHORIZATION OF GOODS AND/OR SERVICES TO BE PROCURED
? DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A TENDER PROCESS FOR GOODS / SERVICES ABOVE SIGNIFICANT VALUE
? INVOLVED IN THE SCOPING OF GOODS AND SERVICES UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR PROCUREMENT
? MAINTAINING A LIST OF PREFERRED SUPPLIERS FOR REGULARLY PROCURED ITEMS ? AT LEAST 3 SUPPLIERS FOR EACH
? UPDATING AND KEEPING CURRENT CONTRACTS AS PRE GLOBAL SPECIFICATION ON GLOBAL SYSTEM

IT HAS ONE KILOMETRE OF BERTH, 50 HECTARES OF YARD, AND CURRENTLY OPERATES 6 SHIP-TO-SHORE GANTRY CRANES AND 2 MOBILE HARBOUR CRANES SUPPORTED BY REACH-STACKER OPERATIONS IN THE YARD, WITH PLANS TO MOVE TO RUBBER-TYRED-GANTRY YARD OPERATIONS IN 2009. POSITION SUMMARY
THE CFO WILL BE PART OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM, REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR.

THE POSITION: TECHNICAL MANAGER

? ENSURES THE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR MANAGER, WORKSHOP MANAGER, CRANE & POWER SUPERVISOR, STORES SUPERVISOR, MAINTENANCE PLANNERS AND THEIR SUBORDINATES ACHIEVE POSITIVE RESULTS BY DEVELOPING EACH EMPLOYEE FOR CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE.

? ENSURES THE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR MANAGER SUPPORTS EFFECTIVE OPERATIONS THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF EQUIPMENT FAILURE PATTERNS, THE DEVELOPMENT AND RECOMMENDATION OF CORRECTION ACTIONS, AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES.
? RESOLVES COORDINATION PROBLEMS BETWEEN THE MAINTENANCE PLANNERS, WORK EXECUTION (WORKSHOP MANAGER AND CRANE &POWER SUPERVISOR), AND OPERATIONS
? MEASURE AND MONITOR PERFORMANCE THROUGH KPIS AGAINST CRITICAL CRITERIA, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
? INSPECTS TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR OBSOLESCENCE AND NEED FOR MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR WORK
? OVERSEES THE APPROPRIATE STAFFING LEVELS, INCLUDING HIRING AND PROMOTING, WITHIN PROJECTED MANPOWER PLAN

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
GRADUATED IN ANY ENGINEERING FIELD.

THE DESIRED CANDIDATE HAS MINIMUM 7 YEARS MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN TERMINAL/ CONSTRUCTION/ HEAVY DIESEL INDUSTRY.

EXPERIENCE IN PREPARING AND CONTRIBUTING TO FINANCIAL BUDGETING FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES ACTIVITIES.

ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE, ANTICIPATES POTENTIAL PROBLEMS, DIAGNOSE, EVALUATE AND RESOLVE LOGISTICAL PROBLEMS IN ORDER TO MEET OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES AND DEADLINES.

GOOD LEADERSHIP SKILLS WITH A TEAMWORK APPROACH.

Do you really have to post this in Block letters ?

Its very good that you post them but please block letters makes it difficult to read.
Use small letters instead.

 I dont think people will prefer block letters anywhere.
I am involved in many pro forums where blocked letters are frowned upon.
Tell me what the blocked letters stand for?
Keywords can be blocked but not every 'is' and 'was'

I appreciate his effort but blocked letters kind of makes it a little difficult to read.
