JOB DESCRIPTION

OUR CLIENT IS A MAJOR ACTOR IN NIGERIA?S TELECOMS SECTOR AND
AIMS TO OFFER A TRULY CONVERGED SERVICE.

CURRENTLY RESTRUCTURING ITS HEADQUARTERS IN THE FEDERAL
CAPITAL TERRITORY, AN INNOVATIVE MARKETING DIRECTOR IS
REQUIRED TO HEAD ITS MARKETING DEPARTMENT.

THE MARKETING DIRECTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR STRATEGIC
PLANNING FOR ALL MARKETING ACTIVITIES.

THE INCUMBENT WILL LEAD MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYSES, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, PROMOTIONAL EVENTS, IDENTIFICATION OF
DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS AND BRAND MANAGEMENT.

S/HE SHALL ENSURE THAT ALL MARKETING ACTIVITIES ARE IN
COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND ARE IMPLEMENTED IN
A TIMELY MANNER.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR POST

A GOOD FIRST DEGREE IN MARKETING OR A
RELATED DISCIPLINE IS ESSENTIAL.

POST GRADUATE QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR RELEVANT
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP WILL BE ADVANTAGEOUS.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS PROVEN MARKETING EXPERIENCE AND

A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF FIXED AND WIRELESS TELECOM MARKETS IN NIGERIA.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE SUCCESSFUL POST HOLDER MUST BE VERY FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND

AT LEAST ONE LOCAL LANGUAGE, AND

SHOULD HAVE DEMONSTRABLE ACUMEN FOR INNOVATION,
PROFESSIONALISM AND CAPABILITY TO LEAD A VERY DIVERSE TEAM.

S/HE MUST BE ABLE TO GRASP AND RELAY ESSENTIAL TECHNOLOGICAL
DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIED SERVICES PROVIDED BY COMPANY.
