Project Managers

Our client, a leading indigenous company constantly seeks to provide the broadest spectrum of services and expertise to a discerning clientele in the energy sector of the economy. The company's present growth strategy has created opportunitiesfor talented professionals in the following key roles:    
     

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Responsible for the successful management and completion of company projects in accordance with agreed targets
* Key responsiblilities will be ensuring compliance to contractual obligations, coordinating and supervising technical personnel and vendors, and managing project schedule and budget quality
* Also responsible for the development of project briefs and facilitating other tendering process
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Degree-qualified in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (COREN or NSE membership will be an added advantage)
* Aged between 37 and 45 years
* Must have a minimum of 12 years' post graduation experience, five of which must have been at Management level within a power generation plant and/or high 330KV sub-station and transmission line, and be familiar with standard computer-based project management systems
* Must be a self motivated individual, possess a sound analytical mind, as well as excellent management and reporting skills

* Responsible for establishing and operating a comprehensive internal control and compliance system for the company
* Key responsibilities will include reviewing, evaluating and enforcing compliance with operational and financials standards within business units
* Ensuring that departmental heads/managers are committed to the implementation of these established controls
* Responsible for identifying areas of weak controls and risk within the company's core business processes and recommending appropriate measures to to strengthen and mitigate the risk to management
* Responsible for ensuring that company is in full compliance with relevant statutory requirements

 
JOB REQUIREMENT

* Degree-qualified chartered accountant (preferably with relevant post-graduate degree qualification)
* Aged between 37 and 42 years
* Must have a minimum of ten years' post graduation experience, five of which must have been in a similar role within a reputable organization or a medium - large successful audit firm
* Must be familiar with computer-aided audit procedures and possess sound reporting skills
* Should have excellent management and organizational skills plus a high level of integrity
