Job Title: ICT Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
Oversees: IT staff (Engineers, Technicians & admin)
Job Location: Equatorial Guinea

Purpose of Job
Alduco ICT is made up of three subsidiaries
1.     TCS Business solutions which is being setup as the b2b arm of Alduco ICT.     
2.     The computer store which has been spe...ing in the procurement and retail of IT systems since 2004.     
3.     CETI our IT training arm

TCS Business Solutions plans to offer the following IT solutions & products to businesses & government:
?   Security Solutions
?   Business solutions (ERP, CRM etc)
?   Network & Infrastructure solutions (voice & data)
?   Value added reseller (Dell, HP, Sun)

Major Responsibilities and duties:

You will be in charge of setting up and managing of TCS Business Solutions, as well as business development and business accounts of our corporate clients.     You will set up processes, methodologies, standards etc (SLA?s, ITIL, ISO 9001:2000 etc).     You will plan, administer and review the acquisition, development and maintenance of computer and telecommunications systems for Alduco?s Clients.     

You will recruit and manage IT staff i.    e.     Network engineers, trainee technicians, admin staff etc.     You will equally be responsible for carrying out the training and formation of the IT team.     Your role will thus involve both technical hands on work, sales & managerial responsibilities.     Your disposition should reflect the ideals of the Company, which are primarily, efficiency and excellent customer service
Duties to include but not limited to

   Recruitment and management of an IT team
   Business development
   Preparing, planning and directing IT policy and strategy for the Company
   Analysing the systems needs of the Alduco and its Clients and developing technological & business solutions to satisfy these needs (Networking, ERP, CRM, Security etc)
   Providing network design, analysis and recommendation of hardware and software components with consideration for the application software, installation of hardware and software, and implementation to ALDUCO SL and its clients
   Identification of maintenance needs & Implementing support & maintenance services for our clients
   Responsible for obtaining partnerships with world leading brands, including but not limited to -Sun, HP, Dell, Cisco, Sage etc
   Assisting clients and potential clients to work out the hardware and software needs of their personal and business requirements and creating their interest in the company?s lT products and services
   Keeping customers informed of new product developments
   Management of stock control, inventory and buying in conjunction with the computer store
   Providing advice to other managers on IT issues and planning
   Plans, schedules and supervises work done by his team, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities for the performance of tasks
   Assists in operation budgets preparation and the administering aspects of operation development and implementation.   

Training, skills and qualification
   Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration sciences or have done a course involving computing, computer science, information technology and computer systems engineering and/or
   Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and/or
   6+ years IT experience gained from a work placement or from an employment with a company or companies
   Depending upon area of assignment, three to four years of increasingly responsible experience in the managing of information technology.   
   Knowledge of data communications processes and network design.   
   Ability to interpret and implement data models into relational data bases (e.    g.    , Informix, Oracle).   
   Ability to perform computer programming and systems analysis work of considerable difficulty.   
   Experience  of the client/server environment.   

Software Experience

Operating system/server: Windows (NT, 98, 2000, Vista, 2000 Server, Exchange Server, 2000 Professional) Linux, Unix etc.   
RDBMS Application: Oracle, SAP, JAVA, XML, VML.   

Programming languages: Delphi, Java, XML

Graphic and Office Application: MS Office, Back Office, Publisher

Hardware Experience
Repairing, upgrading and servicing various type of computer systems, including printers, installation of UPS?s, stabilizers, etc.   

Networking Experience
Cabling of buildings, management and installation of client/server networks, set up mail routing, perform basic server administration tasks such as backing up and restoring files, fixing database indexes, network security, adding new users etc.     Others: Satellite/ PABXs
Personal requirements

In the addition, the IT manager should have the following:
   excellent leadership skills
   the ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with his essential job functions
   the capacity to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information.   
   the capability to perform continuous updates of his own knowledge of products and keep in pace with the rapid developments in technology.   
   extensive and up to date product knowledge required to give a good service and to command the confidence of customers
   an interest in constant retraining through workshops, trade magazines and the internet
   a disposition of reliability
   the ability to maintain a physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting for extended periods of time and operating assigned office equipment.   

Skills, Knowledge required
   Fluency in written and spoken English.     Spanish and French an advantage
   Organisational and analytical skills
   A helpful, courteous manner
   Perseverance and patience
   The ability to master a large variety of product specifications and applications
   Excellent customer service skills
   Teamwork skills
   A neat and professional appearance
