What is the value of a "cache" version of a website in SEO?

If I assume you're referencing to the Google websites cache (not the WayBack Machine one), then the only value of a "cached" page is that you can actually see when Google bot was on your page for the last time.

If monitored for a while, this information could then give you an idea how "popular" is your website for Google, i. e.  how frequently does Google think your content changes.
