JAMB, STRIKE OFF THE OPTIONS

The continuous injustice being meted to students nationwide in the guise of first and second choices of universities while filling JAMB forms calls for concern.

Most students who innocently chose institutions like Uniben and others as their second choice were not allowed to write the post-UME tests for reasons unknown as at the time of applying.

If universities have decided to reject students who opt for them as second choices, then JAMB should rather cancel the options and narrow it down to one.

But that would be restrictive and leave students unsure.

Choice refers to an alternative, hence if no university wants to be an alternative, then JAMB should strike off the second choice option..
