SCHOOL OF NURSING STUDENTS BEG FASHOLA
« on: September 30, 2008, 07:06:59 PM »
I write on behalf of the entire students of Lagos State School of Nursing, Ikoyi Lagos, to draw the attention of Governor Babatunde Fashola to the disgraceful situation of the school.

Students are uncertain of their future as a result of lack of proper coordination by the institution’s authorities.

We are supposed to sit for our final qualifying examination in November 2008 after having been in the school for three years.

However, barely four weeks to our final qualifying exams, we are being told that the registration (index) numbers issued to individual student by the school management through the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria are fake.

Sir, what should we do with our lives after the hurdles of these past three years?

We urge the state government to investigate this anomaly, if only to forestall our future from being jeopardized.

The national exams hold between November 4th and 8th.

Abanikannda Idowu,

Lagos State School,

of Nursing, Ikoyi, Lagos.
