Soludo Lists Woes Of Nigerian Banking Sector

CENTRAL Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Tuesday identified acute shortage of skilled manpower as one of the critical obstacles to reaping maximum benefits from the banking sector after the consolidation exercise.

Soludo said gains that had been recorded in the sector over the last two years might be threatened by the dearth of skilled manpower needed to manage the spe...ed sections of the banks, which now have a massive N5.4 trillion as depositors' fund.
