Title: SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION
Post by: Prince on October 24, 2009, 03:22:29 PM
While there are tens of thousands of search engines on the web, over 90% of the search engine referrals come from the top four search engines (see figure below).  They include Google, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL Search.  Needless to say, it is absolutely crucial that your site is listed with these giants.  Although you really don't need to submit your site to them (their spiders will eventually find and index your site), it does not hurt to make sure that your site gets queued for indexing.

Although there are many online services and software packages
that can quickly mass-submit your site to large number of search engines and directories for you, you should submit your site manually to the major search engines. Automated methods are susceptible to errors and glitches that may prevent your site from being accepted. If you're opting for mass submission, be wary of companies offering to submit your site to "50,000 search engines and directories".  Chances are you'll be paying an exorbitant fee this service, and most of the advertised "50,000 search engines and directories" will be useless free-for-all link pages and spammers masquerading as search engines.

Manual Submission to Search Engines

Here the links to submit your site manually to many search engines:

Major Search Engines

1.

Google URL Submission - FREE - You don't need to submit your site to Google (they prefer that you don't). Eventually, Google will find your site and index it on its own. At this time, it takes up to eight weeks or longer to get a new site listed on Google.  If you need to get on Google faster, consider running an AdWords pay-per-click program.
2.

Yahoo! URL Submission - FREE - Yahoo! will index your site in as little as 2 to 5 days.
3.

MSN URL Submission - FREE
4.

AOL Search URL Submission - FREE -All AOL user-submitted Web content is maintained by the Open Directory Project (http://www.dmoz.org), which is run by a staff of volunteer editors who will accept or reject sites at their discretion.
5.

Excite.com Paid Inclusion  - Charges a fee ($49.95 for one url) for guaranteed inclusion within 72 hours.

Mass Search Engine Submission

Although we suggest that you submit your site to the major search engines manually, you may wish to to use an automatic submission tool (see Free Web Tools) or paid service to submit to the many smaller search engines and directories.

After Submitting

After submitting your site to the search engines, check them periodically to make sure that it's listed.  Your site may not appear in the search results because the crawler has not gotten to it, yet.  Resubmit if you wish.  Resubmitting a site that has been submitted already won't help your site get listed faster, but it won't hurt, either.  If your site is listed but is poorly ranked in the search results, check its html to make sure it's properly optimized for the keywords that you are targeting.  Even well-optimized, content-rich sites may not get ranked highly at first because of poor link popularity.  In that case, keep promoting it the word gets around.

To get a quick index in Google search engine, say within 3 days, you should create unique contents with links as few as possible on it and then link to it from a frequently crawled site like forums.

The SEO spe...ts in our agency would code-optimize your website based on expertise and experience gained in optimizing various websites over a period of 6 years.  Websites are code-optimized according to over 250 parameters identified by our experts and ensure that websites are crawled by search engine crawlers and eventually rank higher on search engines.  Different practices are adopted for sites which are made on different platforms.  Again SEO for a Joomla based site could be different from SEO for a Static Website.

Bases on my experience, adding a listing in Google is no longer free today.   And also, some of the biggest link directory sites like DMOZ and Yahoo directory accept only paid listings.

Thanks for your advice.  If you need search engines to crawl your site often, you have to do just that, update the content of your site often.  Search engine submission is the work rate and tracking of any web page, start ascending to the first work in the job search presentation.

To get spidered or indexed quicker it's best to create one-way back links from sites that are regularly updated as the search engines visit those more frequently to index the content

Hi,

I live and work in the UK, London, and can offer you a SEO service to get more visitors to your site.
My idea:
SEO + Website Submission + Article Creation and Publishing

A) SEO ANALYSIS & FIX

WEBSITE RANK TRACKER
This will show that current website rank, by keyword on Google, Yahoo and Bing.

SITE AND MARKET ANALYSIS
On-page and off-page analysis of your website's SEO strategy.     First we'll look at your homepage and verify that your targeted keywords are setup properly in the critical SEO-related HTML tags, then we'll look at off-page SEO metrics like links back to your site, competitors use of your keywords, and how prominent your keywords are in your target market.     We'll also suggest alternative keywords in your market that may be lucrative.
 We shall:
SITE ANALYSIS EXPANDED
In depth analysis of 'on-page' SEO settings for your entire website, looking for your list of keywords and verifying your sitemap.     We'll also scan your competitors site for their use of your keywords.     Then we'll provide suggestions to fix problems with your on-page SEO strategy.

We shall provide you with a comprehensive report and fix the problems for you.

SITEMAP MANAGER
This is like a table of contents and it is used by the search engines as an index of the pages on your site.     Websites that have these are ranked higher by Google, Yahoo and Bing, which are the main big search engines.     We will create this map of your site for you and ensure that it is updated regularly.

B) RANKING AND TRAFFIC

To Achieve a Higher Ranking and Get More Traffic To Your Site
I shall provide your website with free exposure by finding some of your competitor sites that already rank highly on Google, Yahoo and Bing and leave a post, comment or reply on them.     Therefore when people visit these sites, they will see your details and information.     With this approach you should get lots of traffic to your site.
I shall provide the following services:

To Get Your Website Noticed By Google, Yahoo and Bing And To Get Ranked Faster and Better
