I am six years older than him

I am a 36-year-old lady. I was into a very serious relationship for about four years, which did not work out. Now, I have met another guy and I really love him. He is also in love with me. But two months into the relationship, we have discovered that he is 30 years old. It implies that I am six years older than him. I am really sad, but he is the one encouraging me to be cheerful, and that we should leave everything to God. Moreover, I am totally confused on whether to continue with the relationship or not. Age is not on my side anymore. What do I do?

I don‘t see the reason for your confusion. The guy who was supposed to be confused does not see the age difference as a big deal. If he truly loves you and also encourages you to ignore the age disparity, I am sure he has plans for you. Meanwhile, the relationship has just started and you need more time to know each other. If he proposes to you, nothing stops you from giving him an answer. I have always maintained that age disparity in any relationship is irrelevant as long as the persons involved are comfortable with it, and also ready to keep sealed lips on the matter.
Love is a force, which, when in motion, is stronger than factors like age, class, and religion and ethnic affiliation. Stop worrying and enjoy whatever comes out of this relationship.
