It was shocking revelation in Lagos this week when a mad man who recently regained his sanity revealed how he gave pastors who visited the Ugwu Elom Onele, a mountain in Ebonyi State powers to perform miracles and in return he will sell prayer requests and photograph to the devil.
The man, who is popularly known as Prophet Elijah was recognized by some people in Lagos as one identified as a mad man sometime in Ebonyi State. They say he was a common sight in the street of Abakaliki years ago.
Prophet Elijah mentioned some notable men of God who he sold miracle powers to and also the former governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Sam Egwu whom he claimed he turned his mind towards evil. “Dr. Sam Egwu was the man of his people but we made him to hate good and love our agents who destroyed his good name.”
Speaking to Saturday Sun after an all- night deliverance service in the Christ Assurance Bible Ministry, Festac, Lagos, the General Overseer, Prophetess Jacinta Nwakego Nworie narrated that Fidelis (Prophet Elijah) accosted her when she came to pray with members of her church on the mountain from Lagos, a practice she had maintained since 1996. She met a man with dreadlocks between midnight and 1am who accosted them and started prophesying.
She further stated that the spirit of God directed her to challenge the man who claims to be a prophet, adding: “I rebuked him and he started confessing.”
Prophetess Nworie then asked the demonic agent who dressed like a mad man to tell her what work they wanted him to do and he said, the voices are from occult kingdom, marine.”
“I know myself that I am strong to carry out the assignment but I never knew it was negative. They spoke to me in tongues and I lost my senses for the past 20 years and I have been on their errand, using 10 years to pollute the mountain after which I was able to climb the mountain everyday and come down by 4.a.m every morning.”
His confession
My name was Fidelis Mbam Nnobiya but I disguised myself as Elijah Chukwu a.k.a St Gabriel and I come from Ojiegbe Nkaliki in Ozibo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
“I was a nurse at St Gabriel’s Hospital, Abakiliki 20 years ago working with Dr Azie, but after a while, I started hearing strange voices who told me that they will empower me and make me great, if I obey their instructions. The voices are from the occult kingdom, marine witches and wizards but I told them that I am a Catholic and they asked, since I was a Catholic what have I achieved. They assured that if I work with them I will not regret it. I decided to give it a try since it could make my life better.”
According him, the voice directed him to go to a mountain called Ugwu Elom Onele where great men and women in Abakaliki area and beyond come to acquire powers from God.”
On how he operates, Fidelis recalled that all he needed was to go up to the mountain around 1a.m and say whatever the voice controlling him asked him to. As some men of God come for prayers, he would call their names and reveal why they are there. “That alone will draw them to me while I introduce myself as Prophet Elijah. They will gather and ask me to pray for members of their church. I will collect money from them, go down and buy cement and nails and put the money, picture and prayer request and nail it to the ground.”
He took his time to name some men of God who he was given the assignment to destroy.
“The names of those given to me from the evil kingdom are the names of those that trouble the kingdom and they include: Rev. Fr. Patrick Mary Muo, Pastor Favour Nwadi of Bread of Life Mission. No. 7, Ogoja Road, Rev. Bishop B.C.B. Onyeibor; Administrator Alphonsus Iweka; Pastor Chineyere, Pastor Ibe of Deeper Life Bile Church, Water Works Road district; my godfather Obidigbo, Pastor Chiazo of Peace of God Chapel now in U.S.A. who left behind Pastor Peter as an Assistant Pastor, Rev. Fr. John Odey of St. Patrick’s Parish, Kpirikpiri, Bishop Okoro of St. Theresa’s, Rev. Goddy Ohuche of 3, Olisa Emeka Street, Abakaliki and over 20 others.
“At the Government House, I destroyed the reputation of many people including Pressman Emmanuel Nwigu from Nwofe in Izzi L.G.A. I reduced the fortunes of Chief Fidelis Mbam who was the Chief of Staff, Government House.
He should have been higher than that. Please, help me tell them that they have won me and may God forgive me for the evil I have done to them.
“We also destroyed the good name and good work of Dr. Sam. Egwu who was doing well and his popularity was destroying our kingdom and we were not happy and they sent me to turn his mind upside down. Initially, Sam Egwu was doing well and was a good man but when his praises became too much, it became a disturbance to our kingdom and we took away his mind to the kingdom and also turned his heart to hate the good people around him and to love the evil pretenders whom we used as our agents. Egwu should forgive me because we are the one who made him commit atrocities and took wrong decisions, which he is now regretting. He should quickly reconcile with those people he offended and release his mind from the burden of regrets”, he advised.
